Two different parts of the residence process
Medical fitness and Emirates ID serve different purposes. UAE Government residence guidance describes medical fitness requirements for applicants aged 18 and over and an Emirates ID application as part of the process. The sequence and attendance requirements depend on the case. Ask which stage you have reached and what remains before residence is issued.
Before attending an appointment
Confirm the approved centre, appointment time, identification to bring and whether you need an application reference or other paperwork. Check that the names and passport details on the booking match your documents. Follow the centre’s own instructions; this guide provides administrative planning, not medical advice or interpretation of test results.
Ask about Emirates ID attendance
Clarify whether a biometric appointment or other personal attendance is required in your situation. Ask who submits the application and how you will receive the official reference and delivery updates. Do not assume a renewal follows exactly the same attendance steps as a first application.
Keep costs and completion clear
Request separate medical, ID, delivery and service-fee lines in the quote. A completed appointment does not mean that all residence approvals have been granted. Contact Dubai Visa with your residence route, age category, current stage and planned timing for help organising the right questions. Do not send medical results in an initial enquiry.
